The name originated 1996 in the Bethlehem-street in Linz, inspired by the song Little Star of Bethlehem by the band The CAN. Originally founded by Manfred Veigl and Georg Wagenhuber. Soon after the Bethlehem-street was left towards Vienna – we then called us “Little Stars of”. With the time our tasks began to change as the jobs of our (international) clients. More and more we became specialists for difficult, sometimes quite new communication tasks. We think that’s kind of comparable to a work of a laboratory, so we added the “Visual Laboratories”. Since 2003 they are leaded by Manfred Veigl assisted by various consultants. Since 2010 Gerald Baumgartner is a constant partner in art direction.
Der Name entstand 1996 am Ort der Gründung, nämlich der Bethlehemstrasse in Linz, inspiriert vom Song Little Star of Bethlehem der Band The CAN. Ursprünglich gegründet von Manfred Veigl und Georg Wagenhuber. Nachdem die Bethlehemstrasse schon nach kurzer Zeit Richtung Wien verlassen wurde, nun „Little Stars of”. Bald veränderten sich unsere Aufgaben sowie unsere (internationalen) Auftraggeber. Mehr und mehr entwickelten wir uns zu Spezialisten für unterschiedliche, manchmal noch recht neue Kommunikationsaufgaben. Wir finden dies ist gut mit der Arbeit eines Labors vergleichbar, also passt der Zusatz „Visual Laboratories”. Diese Laboratories werden seit 2003 von Manfred Veigl unter Mitarbeit verschiedener Konsulenten geleitet. Seit 2010 ist Gerald Baumgartner Partner der Artdirektion.
